Our Catholic identity is foremost. It is, simply, our reason for being. It is also what separates us from other independent schools--be them girls' schools, top academic schools or those who offer the Advanced Placement programme. The impact we have on the lives of the young women who study at LFA is possible because we are a faith community first.
Our faith is central in our Strategic Plan and will guide our school into the future, just as it has throughout our history. It also resonates with many in our community whose experience at LFA was deeply enriched by the religious education and spiritual focus of an LFA education.
Sister Josephine Carney (an alumna, a former teacher, a former Vice-Principal and, of course, a Sister of St Ann) was fond of explaining to the next generations of Little Flower Academy students and families that they inherit “a Sacred Trust”. That could not be more true for the two donors who, quite independently, stepped forward in 2011 and 2012 to establish an endowment fund that would specifically enrich the curricular and co-curricular efforts of our campus ministry.
Support this LFA endowmentThe Spirituality in Education Endowment is designed to broadly enrich our campus ministry, both in the classroom and through the extra-curricular programs of religious retreats and mission-centred student clubs. It directly impacts the mission and vision of the school and will benefit student spirituality in perpetuity. To support this endowment, please call
