Outrageous Fun
In May of 2013, we believe LFA became the first independent school alumnae assocation to run a curling bonspiel. Regardless of on-ice outcome, the gales of laughter went well into the evening at yet another sold out event. Thanks to all who came and we look forward to getting out on the ice again.

The pitch
Calling all curlers! For one night, we’d like you to trade your flat iron, curling iron, Velcro rollers, hot rollers and bobby pins for a different curl.

LFA’s Alumnae Association is hosting the first ever Curling Bonspiel for a night of laughter, bravery and all out fun. Join us at 6:30pm, Thursday, May 2 at the Vancouver Curling Club (4575 Clancy Loranger Way, Vancouver). Tickets won't be available at the door, so book using the form below or call Connie at 604-738-9016, ext 106. Tickets are $25 each (includes coaching, equipment rental and appies)... or organize a team (of 4) for $80.

Everyone is welcome! Put together a class team, make it a date night, or simply bring a few friends or family. No curling experience necessary, nor desired; it’s way more fun to learn as you go! Real, honest-to-goodness curlers will be on hand to help with a little coaching. For all the fun and laughter, it might also be your best opportunity to go the PyeongChang Olympics in 2018 as an athlete!

Open to the whole LFA community: alumnae, parents, family and friends. We're looking forward to seeing you curl!

**Note**: We are now sold out for taking part in the curling. However, come join us for a drink and some nibbles in the lounge, anytime during the evening! The bar opens at 7pm and curlers will finish on the ice around 9pm.
