Principal's Message

The enduring legacy of LFA is and always has been the glorious community that surrounds our school. Over the years our family has grown considerably, but what has always remained steadfast is the spirit of service and generosity that has seen our school flourish. Providing an exceptional education has always been our mission. Making that experience accessible to all is our guiding principle. It is what we believe makes LFA such a special school.

Year upon year, it is truly remarkable to witness the dedication and commitment of our staff, students, parents, alumnae volunteers, and community members. The spirit of generosity and giving embodied by our entire community is the beating heart of this school. We are deeply grateful for the people and spirit that define our community.

This year alone, gifts to LFA have played a pivotal role supporting class retreats, enabling academic and personal counselling resources, providing campus-wide technology updates and new athletic equipment. With accessibility at the heart of our mission, we are delighted to report that every qualified request for financial aid was granted this year, thanks to gifts to the school.

We were able to exceed our annual fund goal this year by raising nearly $400,000 for program enrichment, school development, and vital support for core activities. It can’t be understated how much this generosity has empowered the school to deliver an extraordinary experience for the students that pass through our halls.

 

Looking ahead, with our centenary and visionary campus development on the horizon, we’re excited to push the standards of a leading Catholic education. With more than $500,000 raised for campus development and endowment this year, our school is poised to enrich current and future generations of young women in perpetuity, and we couldn’t be prouder, more excited, or more grateful.
