Accessibility at Little Flower Academy
Little Flower Academy recognizes the importance of accessibility for the benefit of the entire community. We are committed to providing a learning and working environment that supports students, staff, and the larger school community.
Accessibility Act
The Accessible British Columbia Regulation, under the Accessible British Columbia Act, came into force on September 1, 2022. Independent schools are required to have an Accessibility Committee, and Accessibility Plan, and a tool to receive feedback on accessibility experiences. The goal of the act is to improve opportunities for people with disabilities and involve them in identifying, removing, and preventing barriers to their full participation in the life of the province.

Accessibility Committee
Under the Accessible BC Act, independent school associations are required to establish an Accessibility Committee. Little Flower Academy is a member of the Catholic Independent Schools of BC and is included in the Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese (CISVA) Accessibility Committee.
