Thank you
The past year has been an amazing year for the students at Little Flower Academy. We launched our Annual Fund back in September with a goal of raising $350,000: an ambitious goal for annual giving that would impact the experience of every girl in our community.
Our community has been so generous: gifts from parents, grandparents, alumnae, staff, past parents and both our Board and the Foundation has enabled the school to make a significant investment in our programs and resources for the girls. We met goal in March and our Annual Fund stands at more than $415,000 as of June 16. Truly, we are grateful.
Each year we budget a shortfall to keep Little Flower Academy as widely accessible as possible. It is an act of faith that our community will enable the resources to make the education extraordinary. Your gifts have had a tangible impact. We were ranked among the very best; our university acceptances were as amazing as ever; we rallied around students battling cancer; our athletics program had teams compete at so many Provincial Championships; we worked with Vancouver College to put on a wildly entertaining musical; we took girls around the world; we celebrated our faith as a community. These are but a few measures of how our exceptional faith-based education. Thanks to you, we deliver it with diversity that makes Little Flower a truly unique independent school.
In addition to our most successful Annual Fund ever, we launched into a campaign to revitalize the technology across campus. Led by the LFA Foundation, more than $200,000 has been raised in addition to the Annual Fund. A third of our way to goal, five new mobile labs, interactive white boards, new software, a complete wifi overhaul, and new servers will all be in place for September’s start of class.
The Report on Giving does not focus solely on numbers, but on the impact those numbers have had and the lives of those who have benefited from your generosity. These are just a few of the stories of how you, our donors, have helped to make that impact.
Thank you. You have enabled the very best in Catholic, all girls' education.
