Angels Beat the Hounds

The team had a short bench of new-to-hockey players with Sophie, Fenna, Gabby, Merete and Annabel standing their ground against Point Grey's line of new hockey players.  While neither line gave up a goal, there was some brilliant puck support, steady defense by Merete and Annabel, and Gabby had some wonderful opportunities in front of the Hounds net!  In the experienced hockey line, the Angels received excellent supporting play from Eva and Mattea.  They opened the scoring with 2 goals from Amy, a pair from Michaela, and Jess waiting until the final minutes of her final senior hockey game to score as the Angels walked away with a 5-3 win.  Ella once again kept the Hounds scoring opportunities to a minimum.  Well done, Angels!
