Angels Get The Win!

The Angels got their first win of the season in only their second time playing together as a team.  While LFA went down 1-0 after the Wolves scored early in the first half, the Angels battled for every ball and every inch of the pitch, blocking shots, and playing a tough, physical game.  Ola played a ball across to a wide-open Morgan W who calmly slotted it past the goalie to tie it up before the half.  The game remained tied thanks to some impressive team defense, beginning with Charlotte who played aggressively in the net.  The game was determined in penalty kicks, with all four PK takers scoring: Jess, Sadie, Ola and Joanna all found the back of the net.  Charlotte made two brilliant stops to seal the win for the Angels.  Well done!
