The LFA Physics Olympics participated in UBC's 47th Physics Olympics this past weekend, competing shoulder to shoulder with the most competitive schools in the province.
We always aim for the big win and one day we'll have it. Although no medal haul this year, we once again stood along side the giants. We stood shoulder to shoulder with the most competitive schools. We held onto 3rd place in the solar boat competition. We comfortably held 2nd place in the light box until we were eventually nudged out of medal contention near the end of the day. We ended up in 4th and 6th place over all out of 81 teams that competed this year! This is an absolutely astounding performance from our school courageously countering every disadvantage by keeping our head up, and laying our shoulder into it and just fearlessly ploughing ahead and doing the best that we can. Mr. Chow is so proud of his Olympians.
