In this sacred season of Easter, we invite all in the Little Flower Academy community to join in prayer as we mourn the passing of our Holy Father, Pope Francis.

A humble shepherd and tireless servant, Pope Francis led the Church with compassion, courage, and deep faith. It is with deep gratitude that we offer this prayer for Pope Francis, our Holy Father, our shepherd, and a humble witness to Christ’s love.

Eternal God of Hope, Life, and Love,

Welcome Pope Francis joyfully into your eternal embrace.

His heart, which beat so faithfully for your people, now rests in perfect peace with yours.

We grieve the loss of a gentle, courageous shepherd—
                a voice for the voiceless,
                a champion of mercy,
                a tireless witness to your love.

Eternal rest grant to him, O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. We offer this prayer through Jesus Christ, your Son and our Lord.
