The Annual Fund plays a key role in keeping our campus facility amongst the very best of any Catholic high school in the lower mainland. We quietly undertook a major roof replacement on the 1992 wing of the school: the wing the girls know as the "Science Wing".
Key to maintainin the facility is keeping ahead of essential maintenance. Anyone who has owned a house knows the importance of these critical undertakings. The past few years the Annual Fund has played a critical role in the replacement of windows and doors, blinds, heaters, boilers, and even upgraded to high efficieny ligthbulbs.
Sometimes, there's a change to the building code. Other times, it's just about providing the best possible environment for our girls to learn. Certainly replacing a roof is more significant than refitting lightbulbs, but it's all part of the keeping the school in the condition you'd expect the girls to be learning in.
So, while you'll not notice our lovely new roof, you can be sure the girls in Ms. Coady's Biology class or Mr. Ramerez' Physics class also won't notice the roof. That is an entirely good thing. Thank you.
