Spring Sports
The spring season goes from March through to late May/early June and includes the following teams:
- Badminton
- Soccer
- Tennis
- Track & Field
- Ultimate Frisbee
The different teams have varied approaches to their sport and availability to student athletes depends on the sport and the level where they are eligible to participate.
The Badminton team is open to all Grades. The team is selective and is competes to qualify for entry into the Provincial Championships. Training and coaching are done with Vancouver College and we field mixed teams with VC.
Soccer at Little Flower is offered at both the Junior and Senior level. The Senior team is open to all Grades and is highly selective, seeking to qualify through regional competition to the Provincial Championships. The Junior team is open to Grades 8 through 10, compteting in a regional league and enters competitive tournaments. The Junior team is also selective.
The Tennis team is open to all grades and competes in regional competition seeking to qualify for the Provincial Championships. Co-ed doubles is offered with Vancouver College.
Track & Field is open to all grades and one of our school's biggest teams. The team is non-selective, meaning any athlete willing to commit to training and participation in regional meets is welcome. Qualification for regional championships and Provincial championships is results-based.
The Ultimate Frisbee team is co-ed and is formed with male athletes from Vancouver College. The selective team is chosen from athletes in Grades 10 through 12 and compete for qualification in the Provincial Championships.
