As we bid farewell to our beloved Vice Principals, Roland St. Cyr and Carole Prescott, we are excited to introduce the newest members of our leadership team, Katie Larson and Becky Lang.
This year, we prepare to bid farewell to our beloved Vice Principals, Roland St. Cyr and Carole Prescott. Both are retiring after 14 years in the role and a combined 70+ years of service in Catholic education. We thank them both for their dedication, commitment, and leadership at Little Flower Academy and look forward to celebrating their time with us as the school year winds down.
With next school year in mind, we are pleased and excited to introduce the newest members of our leadership team. Our new Vice Principals will carry forward a legacy fostered by Carole and Roland, while bringing new and innovative approaches to advance our school’s mission and vision in the years to come. With their dedication to excellence, faith, and student success, we are confident they will continue to inspire and support our community in meaningful ways.
Katie Larson has been a valued member of our LFA faculty since 2009. She has taught a diverse range of subjects from Home Economics to AP European History. She has coached many teams over the years, sharing her love of sport with students. As the Department Head of Counselling and our Academic Counsellor, she has guided countless students toward successful university placements worldwide. She brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of our school community, as well as strong collegial connections. We are so excited to have her expertise and leadership at the staff level.
Becky Lang joins us from St. Thomas More Collegiate, bringing fresh perspectives to our leadership team. Originally from Saskatchewan, she holds a Master’s degree in Inclusive Education from Northern Ireland and is a passionate Religious Studies educator and athletics coach. She is deeply committed to building strong, faith-filled communities. Her dedication to both academic excellence and holistic student development will be a wonderful addition to LFA.
As the school moves towards our centenary and the realization of a modern campus to help upcoming generations of young women flourish, we are blessed to have amazing leaders helping us move forward.
