Angels open the season with a win!

The Angels hit the ice in a pre-season exhibition game on Friday!  Despite not having a practice yet, the Angels glided to a 4-1 victory over Kits. Starting with our grade 8 goalie, Genevieve stopped everything that came her way, shutting Kits out until the dying seconds of the game when a bounce of the boards had eyes.  The defensive game was a wall with Jess, Mattea, and Olivia letting nothing by them.  Our ringette players, Sienna and Kaley looked like seasoned hockey players; our "young vets" Emma and Eva helped anchor our forward lines, and new players Bea, Eli, Fenna, and Gabriela all had great chances to score.  Amy, with a season under the belt, controlled her wing.  Eva, Emma, Jess, and Olivia all scored for the Angels.  Well done!
