Thank you to everyone who participated in the Lighthouse Club's Baby Items Drive!

On Friday night, LFA's Sr Volleyball team defeated Crofton House to become the 2024 Sea2Sky AAA Champions. 

In a wildly exciting, back and forth game, LFA overcame cross street rivals York House 1-0 to claim bronze and go into AA Provincials ranked third in the province.

Our Senior Field Hockey Angels were all business on a beautiful Monday afternoon in their Sea to Sky Zone Championship Quarter Final game with Sentinel Secondary. Playing in the strongest Zone in the province, the win for LFA clinched them one of the five berths at the Provincial Championships in early November in Victoria, BC.

The Senior Volleyball Team played tremendously well in the Handsworth tournament over the weekend, finishing in 4th place. 

You’re invited to the Diamond Anniversary of our 10th annual Mother Daughter Brunch! Taking place Saturday, November 16, 2024 at the Pinnacle Hotel, Harbourfront Ballroom.

LFA has been attending the Bridgman Field Hockey Tournament for over three decades. It is, simply, the highest level high school field hockey tournament in BC. Probably in Canada. The best AA and AAA teams are there and the parity among the teams is extraordinary. LFA has never made the final until this year!

Our students reached their ambitious Walkathon goal of $75,000, making Walkathon 2024, the most successful Walkathon in our school history!

On Friday, September 6th students, parents, alumnae, staff, past parents and friends gathered together in the LFA courtyard for our school's biggest Welcome Back BBQ ever. 

Maddie Labossiere '25 captured the beach volleyball gold medal at the 2024 BC Summer Games in Maple Ridge (July 17 to 21, 2024) with her partner, Maya Blackwood (Handsworth Secondary).

The roster for the Canadian Junior (u21) Women's National Field Hockey Team was announced today! LFA is very proud to boast that four Angels made the cut for the upcoming Junior Pan American Championship, hosted in Surrey, BC this July.

This past week, the LFA Tennis team competed in the BC Provincial Championships and came away with a Silver Medal!

Lori Lai '24 was recently awarded the Award of Distinction for her piece "Labour of Love" by the 2024 ShowOff! Art Competition. We caught up with Lori to reflect on the honour!

Our Senior Soccer Angels took on Collingwood on Tuesday, May 14 in a critical zone game an emerged victorious!

On Friday, May 3rd, LFA's Choral Choir performed their year-end show "Sing the World Better" at UBC's Chan Shun Concert Hall. 

The LFA delegation represented the school splendidly at CAHSMUN with 9 girls winning awards. 

Our Sr Soccer Angels took down the Notre Dame Jugglers 2-1 to claim top prize at the BC Catholics on Friday, April 12th.

In March, Lori Lai '24 was selected as a finalist for AUArts' online exhibition for her piece "Labour of Love". After judges deliberation, she has been awarded the Award of Distinction, winning LFA's Art Department a grant in the process.

On March 17, 2024 UBC was crowned U Sports Champions for the second-straight year, led by LFA alums, Lucy Borowski '21, Elizabeth Lee '22, and Gisella Goodger '19. 

On Saturday, March 9th, LFA's Physics Olympics team attended UBC's 46th Physics Olympics, placing 5th out of 78 teams that competed this year!

Today we celebrate all the extraordinary women that make LFA special. 

The Senior Basketball team played in the AAA Provincial Tournament last week, valiantly competing their way to a 10th place finish in the province. 

We are thrilled to announce that after a national search and careful consideration of many exceptional candidates, Mrs. Katelyn McGuinty has been appointed as the new Principal of Little Flower Academy.

Our Alumnae Spring Event this year is Arty Party, taking place on Friday, May 10th. Tickets are now available. 

LFA students have shown great spirit, participation, and success at two recent conferences in Vancouver, coming away with 11 awards!

February 7th, 2024 marks National Girls and Women in Sport Day. As such, we'd like to celebrate all the incredible young athletes at LFA!

This past weekend LFA's Model UN team participated in the Vancouver Model UN hosted by St. George's. LFA brought a mix of experienced and beginner students, all who competed with great effort and spirit. 

As all shows for the upcoming production of Mary Poppins have sold out, a new show has been added on Saturday, February 3rd for all eager to watch!

As winter weather conditions are upon us, we are reposting our procedures for emergency school closures.

All decisions regarding school closure are made with student safety as the top priority and are dependent upon the unique conditions of the day.

On the evening of Friday, January 12th, LFA’s Art Department will be hosting a Student Art Show, featuring the work of our talented artists in Grade 8 through 12.

After a national search, careful consideration and a thorough selection process, we are delighted to announce that our current Principal, Mrs. Diane Little, has been appointed as the new Head of School at LFA.
