In the spring of 2012, with all the excitement of graduation in the air, the Grad Committee of the Class of 2012 took time to consider and then make the first class gift to the LFA Foundation as a permanent benefit to future generations of LFA students. Only a week later, the Class of 1962 held their 50th reunion. Inspired by both the Class of 2012 and the impact that a class gift to the Foundation could have on their alma mater, they too made a gift in recognition of the impact that LFA had on their lives.
So, in June of 2012, two classes, fifty years apart, gave generously to the Little Flower Academy Endowment Fund to start a new tradition of class gifts to endowment. The impact that the interest from these gifts have will be both immediate and in perpetuity. They will also grow over time as future gifts to their class endowment build the principal through annual giving, special gifts, gifts in memory and
planned, or legacy, gifts.
