Four Alums Make Junior Women's National Team
The roster for the Canadian Junior (u21) Women's National Field Hockey Team was announced today! LFA is very proud to boast that four Angels made the cut for the upcoming Junior Pan American Championship, hosted in Surrey, BC this July.
Alicia Lung '23, Mikayla Stelling '21, Stella Malinowski '23, and Shannon Stelling '24 will compete in the Junior Pan American Championship Field Hockey Tournament taking place in Surrey, BC from July 1-12, 2024.

We couldn’t be more proud of our Angels for their dedication and incredible success in the sport after LFA. Stella is now playing at Lafayette College (Pennsylvania). Alicia is at the University of Toronto. Sisters Mikayla and Shannon will play together next year at the University of British Columbia. Mikayla is also just returned from Spain, where she represented Canada at the Senior level in the FIH Nations Cup.
In recent years our field hockey program has been incredibly competitive at the provincial level, garnering two provincial silvers in the past two years. Credit is also due to our incredible coaching staff across our bantam, junior, and senior field hockey teams.
