Introducing Our New Principal

Dear Little Flower Academy Community,

 

On behalf of the Little Flower Academy community, I am thrilled to announce that after a national search conducted by Odgers Berndtson and careful consideration of many exceptional candidates, Mrs. Katelyn McGuinty has been appointed as the new Principal of Little Flower Academy.

 

An alumna of Little Flower, Katelyn began her career at LFA, serving as a valued member of the teaching faculty before taking on the role of Counselling Department Head. Katelyn moved on to serve as the Head of Careers at the British School in the Netherlands for several years before returning to LFA as the Head of Learning Services.

 

Katelyn brings a mindful, measured, and discerning approach to leadership along with an abundance of professional experience. She has a deep commitment to the mission and vision of Little Flower and embraces the values of compassion, integrity, and service as central to our Catholic faith and critical in nurturing the spiritual and healthy development of our students.

 

As a member of the school leadership team, Katelyn is committed to continuing LFA’s tradition of excellence and creating opportunities for our students to develop the skills and capacities to be faith-filled leaders of tomorrow. 

 

Katelyn will start in the role of Principal on July 1, 2024. If you have not had the pleasure of meeting Katelyn, please consider joining us at the Welcome Back BBQ on September 6, 2024.
