Blackbaud ID Authentication Update – Wednesday, May 8th
To enhance the security and stability of their solutions, Blackbaud will be updating authentication for Blackbaud ID. Although this update was originally scheduled for April, it was temporarily delayed.
At LFA, we partner with Blackbaud to provide modern online services. You use Blackbaud ID (BBID) to log into our solutions, and Blackbaud is making changes with the following benefits:
• Improved reliability for your Blackbaud ID
• A more attractive, intuitive sign-in page
The updated sign-in experience take effect between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. ET on Wednesday, May 8th . You'll still see our logo on the sign-in page, but the workflow will be slightly different. Just follow the prompts to access our online services.
A couple things to note:
• Your sign-in credentials won’t change.
• If you enabled multi-factor authentication (MFA), you will need to set up MFA again (receive and enter a confirmation code).
For most users, you will simply need to do a one-time reauthentication before signing in. For more information, see the Blackbaud ID Migration resource.
