LFA Impresses at Vancouver Model UN!

Our students won 6 significant awards, and considering there were over 1300 students present at this conference and most committees were approximately 70 - 90 students (not UNSC or ASEAN at about 16), these awards are a testament to students' perseverance, involvement, and earnest effort to form resolutions with others.

 

 The 6 awards were given to -

 

Amy Shumka (gr 11)- the Best Delegate on the Security Council (this is the most competitive committee of the conference) 

 

Kristina Bedford (gr 11) - Outstanding on UNICEF

 

Allison Chak (gr 10 ) - Honorable Mention on WHO

 

Lidya Erel (gr 10)- Honorable Mention on UNODC (Drugs and Crime)

 

Addison Sapiecha ( gr 10)- Best Researched on WHO 

 

Sophie Cunningham (gr 12) - Best Researched on ASEAN
