Carling Allaye-Chan '25 Tops World Tennis Juniors!
Carling competed in and won the Wilson Oak Bay ITF held in Victoria, B.C. last week.
The ITF (International Tennis Federation) world tennis tour juniors is the premier level for worldwide competition among under-18 junior tennis players. The tournament in Victoria included competitors from Canada, Germany, Japan, and the U.S.
Carling beat the top seed in the finals by a score of 7-6 6-2, and did not drop a set all tournament. Her path to the finals included wins over the second and fifth seeds. This was Carling’s first ITF junior title.
Carling's tennis exploits will next take her to Naples, Florida from November 27 - December 1 for the USP University Showcase. It will be an incredible opportunity for her to play in front of numerous U.S. college coaches and scouts.
We're incredibly proud of all that Carling's accomplished and wish her the best of luck going forward.
